Cheers to Volunteers!
Looking for volunteer opportunities in Indianapolis? The Indianapolis Propylaeum offers meaningful ways to support historic preservation, women's leadership, arts and culture, and community engagement.
As one of Indianapolis' oldest women's organizations, The Propylaeum depends on volunteers to help preserve our historic campus while advancing programs that bring people together through conversation, learning, creativity, and civic engagement.
Whether you're interested in nonprofit volunteering, historic preservation projects, event support, hospitality, gardening, archives, or sharing professional expertise, there are opportunities to contribute your skills and connect with others who care about strengthening our community.
Volunteer opportunities throughout the year include:
Historic preservation and campus stewardship
Event and hospitality support
Porch Concert Series assistance
Arts, culture, and educational programs
Fundraising events and community outreach
Archives, collections, and research projects
Administrative and professional skills-based volunteering
By volunteering with The Indianapolis Propylaeum, you're helping preserve an important piece of Indianapolis history while supporting a vibrant gathering place for women, ideas, arts, culture, and community.
