Our summer Porch Concert Series is one of our favorite annaul traditions! Featuring four local acts performing on our historic front porch, each concert is free, open to the public and is a great way to take in high quality music in a community-oriented atmosphere.
Thanks to the support of our sponsors and grantors, the porch concert remains free while also paying performers and technicians for their work.

In 2020, as nonprofits sought new ways to connect with their communities, longtime Propylaeum members and passionate preservationists Marjorie Kienle and Lorraine Phillips-Vavul launched the virtual Historic Preservation Series (originally known as Historic Neighborhoods of Indianapolis).
Designed to spotlight historic homes & neighborhoods, the work of architects, researchers, and preservation advocates, the series has reached more than 500 attendees over the past five years and continues to engage audiences across Indiana and beyond.
