Historic Preservation Series

As Jordan Hall approaches its centennial, join us on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 7pm via Zoom for a visual exploration of 171 years of Butler University’s architectural history. This presentation traces the evolution of Butler’s campuses in the Old Northside, Irvington, and Butler-Tarkington, highlighting the buildings and architectural styles that have shaped the university over time.

The program will be led by architectural historian and preservationist James Degrazia, whose passion for historic architecture and Indiana’s built environment brings this story to life. Through images and context, attendees will gain a deeper appreciation for Butler’s architectural legacy and the role preservation plays in honoring the past while looking to the future.
