Porch Concert Series - 2022

The 2022 Porch Concert Series returns to the Propylaeum this summer. The concerts are free and open to the public with arrival at 7 p.m. for finding seats, and getting drinks and snacks. Performances will start at 8 p.m. A suggested donation of $15/person is encouraged.

The series kicks off on Friday, June 3 with Premium Blend. Having performed at the Propylaeum last summer, Premium Blend is a modern jazz quartet that combines traditional elements of bebop, hard bop, r&b, and groove in their original compositions. The band is led by Jared Thompson and members include Ryan Taylor and Steven Jones.

The July 8 concert features Sidewalk Souls, an Indianapolis-based rock band featuring six veteran musicians. Although distinctively alternative rock at its root, Sidewalk Souls’ music is heavily laden with soul, reggae, and a touch of Americana.

On August 12, guitarist John Alvarado will perform. His musical interests also span a wide range, including classical, jazz, flamenco, rock, Latin and more.
