Historic Neighborhoods of Indianapolis: Holy Cross

Holy Cross is a thriving urban neighborhood with a small-town community feel located on Indianapolis' near east side. Holy Cross is a diverse community of people in a beautiful neighborhood that provides opportunities for work and play nearby Downtown Indianapolis, while maintaining a small-town feel . Presented by Scotty Z. Wilson President, Holy Cross Neighborhood Association.

Wilson is a 12+ year resident of downtown Indianapolis. He joined the Neighborhood Association several years ago, first serving on the communications committee, then as vice president. His favorite aspects to the Holy Cross Neighborhood are about the balance it offers—in terms of its proximity to downtown, but still relative quietness, plus an increasing number of businesses, mostly local, situated within a thriving residential community.
