A Salon Sneak Peak

An art auction featuring talented local artists, wine pull, a live band, and amazing company are just some of what you can expect from 2022 Salon Society Gala on November 12th. This year’s Salon promises to be a blast from the past to begin our celebration of 100 years at 1410 N Delaware. The event will have a 1920s speakeasy feel. Feel free to dress for the occasion.

This is the first time since the pandemic that the event will be held in person, giving you a chance to see friends and show off your dance moves to the sounds of Teresa Reynolds and the Slicktones. They will have you up and shaking your hips to their amazing performance. They’ve played Rockwood Music Hall, The Jazz Kitchen, Art and Soul at the Artsgarden, Swish Indy, Arts for Lawrence, and you may have caught them here at the Propylaeum before.

We will have an art auction, utilizing on online bidding platform, featuring local artists. Their canvasses are slate tiles that were once the shingles of our mansion. You can bid on not only an amazing piece of art, but a piece of our history. Bring the Propylaeum home. The auction will be live before the event to allow bidding to begin before you walk through the door.

There will also be a wine pull and an envelope pull. For $20 you can have you chance to pull an exotic bottle of wine, a local classic, or an envelope that has prizes ranging from gift cards to jewelry, to Colts tickets.

The evening will be a blast! So, start polishing your best dance shoes and saving up for your favorite piece of art or a chance at a nice merlot. We are looking forward to seeing you on November 12!
