Women's History Tea Focuses on Female Artists

The annual Propylaeum Women’s History Tea, held on July 20, was a great success. Members and guests, many wearing beautiful hats, enjoyed traditional afternoon tea sandwiches and treats while listening to professional storyteller Stephanie Holman share stories about pressures faced by early female artists. The stories included three Brown County female artists as well as former Propylaeum member and townhouse resident Ruth Pratt Bobbs. Sparkling wine and raffle items added to the afternoon fun. The

Women’s History Tea is quickly becoming a favorite program among Propylaeum members and guests.
