Chef Suzanne Catering, owned by Chef Suzanne Rockwell, will be opening Café at the Prop in early August.
Chef Suzanne Catering will join the
Propylaeum as a preferred caterer for events, as well as operate the Café at the Prop.
Chef Suzanne Rockwell has been working in the food industry as a private chef, executive chef, and restaurant general manager for many years. She started Chef Suzanne Catering in 2009. For the first few years the catering was done in other’s kitchens. In 2014 Suzanne opened her own kitchen to prepare delicious, healthy cuisine for families, clients, and party guests.
Suzanne grew up in Columbus Ohio and is a graduate of Ohio State University. She is
married with 4 children and 5 grandchildren.
Chef Christy Reiman works closely with Chef Suzanne. Christy spent 14 years in the corporate I.T. field before attending The Chefs
Academy in Indianapolis where she obtained her Associates degree in Culinary Arts. She is currently the Director of Sports & Nutrition at Chef Suzanne Catering, working closely with professional athletes and dietitians to ensure that meals adhere to their dietary needs.
Chef Christy is known for her chicken velvet soup, chicken salad, and sugar cream pie, which may be on the menu of the Café at the Prop.
Chef Suzanne and the Propylaeum will host a launch party on Friday, August 2, before opening for lunch on Monday, August 5. More details will be available in the July Bulletin.
