How did she do it?

Imagine heading a local corporation that supports 100 languages. (Can you even think of 100 languages?) Combine that with working with 4,792 employees and responsible for 90,774 outpatient visits.
Dr. Lisa Harris oversees all that and more as chief executive officer of Eskenazi Health, one of the newest and largest hospitals in the Indianapolis area, built as one of the most innovative “safety net” hospitals in the country.
You’ll hear how Dr. Harris put together a team that worked to promote and fund the hospital as they continued daily services to the neediest in the metropolitan area. You’ll also hear how their vision became a bustling, state-of-the-art facility and garnered public support and nationwide accolades. Dr. Harris’s leadership worked to creatively put together the funding and the public support to create a gem that borders the White River.
The model, from high-tech medicine to treating the entire person, which results in fewer return visits, packages the look of health care for all of us for tomorrow. Dr. Harris will share her vision and leadership style as the second in the 2018-2019 Marilyn K. Glick Women’s Enrichment Series on Thursday, Feb. 21. Receptions begin at 5 p.m., the lecture at 6 p.m. VIP tickets are $75 and include a meet and greet with wine and hors d’oeuvres in the carriage house and reserved seats for the lecture. General admission tickets are $40 in the main house and offers a cash bar and hors d’oeuvres. For tickets please go to ww.thepropylaeum.org/upcomingevents or call 317.638.7881 ext.3
