Propylaeum Suffrage Centennial Events

A one‐woman play about the history of women’s suffrage, with a comparisons to female figures today. A high ‐energy story told as if Susan B. Anthony and her pals had i‐Pads,  Twitter, and Uber. Performed by Broadway actress Sally Perkins.
This virtual event includes a one-time use, digital access pass to a recording of Sally Perkins' Digging in Their Heels. A link to the recording will be sent out on August 4th at noon, which can be watched at your convenience. Your ticket to this event also includes a live Q and A on August 6th at 7pm with Sally Perkins. A recording of that Zoom session will be available afterwards as well.

On March 19th the May Wright Sewall Leadership Award will be given to two woman who exude the spirit of the award’s namesake. Sewall set the bar for civic engagement and leadership in Indianapolis. Nationally Sewall fought diligently beside Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton for a woman’s right to vote.  This year's winners are Deborah Hearn Smith and Vi Simpson...
