The Propylaeum allows beer, wine, and liquor, and we can accommodate plated meals, buffet-style, cocktail receptions, and family style options. While our preferred caterers are the required caterer for all food and beverage needs, dessert can be provided by a 3rd party vendor.
Where can my guests park?
We have an on-site parking lot available to guests with 45 spots. Additionally, there is free street parking along Delaware and 14th streets.

What people are saying about the Propylaeum...
It's All in the Details
I wanted to let you know how grateful I am to have had you as our event coordinator for our winter bridal cocktail shower! You and the team at the Propylaeum were so wonderful to work with, extremely responsive and detail oriented. The team and bartenders were warm, hospitable and delightful all evening long. Our guests had a delightful time celebrating and it was in large part thanks to your vision and leadership. I'll definitely keep the Propylaeum in mind for hosting future events!
Showered in Compliments
I hosted a baby shower here for my sister and it was perfect. The building alone is incredible. The historical aspect gave my guests something extra to explore in addition to the expected games and small talk. The staff are very friendly and professional. They worked with me, at my convenience, to make sure I was getting what I wanted. When comparing similar venues, I think the Prop is the best deal for the price. I got so many compliments on the venue, I think it would be great for other events too.
EXCELLENT Venue! We had our book signing at the Propylaeum. The staff was incredibly accommodating, the place is gorgeous. The flow to allow people to move around was perfect. There were 11 authors there and enough room for all of us. Bonus, there were enough bathrooms!
I hosted a 50th birthday party event here and it was an amazing experience. All the details associated with throwing a huge party were made easier to manage by the knowledgeable and helpful staff. They provided blueprints to plan out layouts and were onsite during the entire event for those on-the-spot decisions that every party experiences. We have guests from out of town stay at the venue, too, and that was a great decision. All-in-all, I am so happy we chose the Propylaeum for the event and would do so again in a heartbeat. It made a once-in-a-lifetime event quite special.
