This renowned mother-daughter team will open the series, discussing their steps toward success in the medical and television journalism fields and how they have negotiated their relationship through the growth of their careers. Recently named president of Oakland University, Dr. Ora Pescovitz has years of academic , medical and business experience. Naomi Pescovitz was the weekend anchor at WTHR and recently joined FOX 9 in Minneapolis.

Critically acclaimed opera singer Angela Brown began singing in her grandfather’s Indianapolis church at the age of 5. Her Metropolitan Opera debut in the role of Aida catapulted her onto the world’s prestigious opera and symphonic stages. Angela  Brown has taken opera to the masses in her edgy, yet educational presentation, Opera...From a Sistah’s Point of View.


In 2017-2018, the Enrichment Goes to School program takes Angela Brown to a local public high school to inspire young women about to embark on the next phase of their lives.
